In the world an also in Latvia the idea of an ecologically clean and a people friendly environment is getting more and more popular.
Log house building principle is one of the oldest and therefore also one of the most natural ways of house building.
Living in a house of this type gives you the opportunity to be surrounded only with natural and environment friendly materials.
There are many ways how to build a log house but we offer:
-
Norwegian type log house – are built from poll logs, wall thickness 21 cm;
-
Canadian type log house – are built from pealed pine and spruce logs.
So our built log houses are totally ecologically clean, also for the further work we use natural materials.
For the Canadian and also Norwegian type log house heat insulation we use sheep wool, because it doesn’t flatten and settle, as well as it provides more warmth isolation.
The log house is covered with Canadian oil, but for the roof we mostly use clay tiles (other types of roof covering are also available).
